SV Series - Stand-Alone Electronic Products

The SV Series Positioners were designed specifically for use with Exlar rotary and linear actuators to control valves and dampers in process control applications. The all-electric design eliminates the complexity of applying electro-hydraulic interface pilot valves or electric-pneumatic positioners, and provides two-way communication between your system and the actuator. The fully digital SV Series Positioners operate from standard process control inputs allowing for simple retrofits of hydraulic or pneumatic actuated valve applications or dampers. SV Series Positioners used with Exlar's high performance linear and rotary actuators can also replace fluid power and low performance electric actuators, eliminating problems associated with actuator failures.

DS2100 Series Servo Drives, High Performance, Single Axis

The DS2100 is the next step up in performance and is based on Moog's existing DS2000 fully digital servo drive. Like the DS2000, the DS2100 provides full digital control of brushless servomotors and delivers a technologically advanced system with excellent cost, performance, reliability and flexibility. The DS2100 utilizes high power microprocessors to deliver significantly increased current, velocity and position performance that is demanded by many modern applications. In addition to increased performance, the DS2100 also provides a full range of interfaces to motors, feedback devices and higher-level controllers.

  • High Performance Loop Closure Via Full Digital Control - The DS2100 has torque, velocity and position control capability according to the following main features (100 µsec sampling time)
  • Advanced Resolver Demodulation for High Performance - A special algorithm is able to provide very high resolution (up to 16 bit with low noise) resolver feedback system, providing very stiff control loops
  • Integrated Universal Power Supply - In order to make the DS2100 a self-contained stand alone servo drive, we have integrated the following control and monitoring circuits into its on-board power supply:
  • Drive Programming - This can be performed by use of the management software program Win Drive, based on Java, via a PC or Notebook Computer.
